NOTICE OF ANNUAL ELECTION

             PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Annual Election of the East Northport Fire District will take place on December 13, 2011 between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the East Northport Fire House located at One Ninth Avenue, East Northport, New York for the purpose of electing one Commissioner for a 5-year term, commencing on January 1, 2012 and ending on December 31, 2016.  All duly registered residents of the East Northport Fire District shall be eligible to vote. Candidates for District Office shall file their names with the Secretary of the East Northport Fire District at One Ninth Avenue, East Northport, New York, no later than 12:00 PM, November 23, 2011.  Nominations shall be submitted in petition form subscribed by 25 qualified voters of the District.  Blank petitions are available from the Secretary of the East Northport Fire District, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
