LEGAL  NOTICE

ANNUAL ELECTION OF THE HALESITE FIRE DISTRICT

ON DECEMBER 13, 2011

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the Halesite Fire District will take place on December 13, 2011 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the Halesite Firehouse located at 1 New York Avenue, Huntington, New York, for the purpose of electing one Commissioner for a five (5) year term, commencing January 1, 2012 and ending December 31, 2016. And to fill an unexpired 3 year term, commencing January 1, 2012 and ending on December 31, 2014.  All voters registered with the Suffolk County Board of Elections on or before November 23, 2011 shall be eligible to vote.

Candidates for District Office shall have filed their names with the Secretary of the Halesite Fire District, at the firehouse at 1 New York Avenue, Huntington, New York, no later than 20 days before the election, November 23, 2011
