ANNUAL ELECTIONS OF THE

GREENLAWN FIRE DISTRICT

ON DECEMBER 13, 2011

            PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Annual Elections of the Greenlawn Fire District will take place on TUESDAY, DECEMBER 13, 2011 between the hours of

6:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M. at the Greenlawn Fire Department Headquarters located at

23 Boulevard Avenue, Greenlawn, New York; for the purpose of electing One (1)

Fire Commissioner for a Five (5) year term of office, commencing January 1, 2012 and ending December 31, 2016 and to fill an unexpired Two (2) year term of office, commencing January 1, 2012 and ending December 31, 2013. 

            Candidates for District Office shall file their names with the Secretary of the Greenlawn Fire District at 23 Boulevard Avenue, Greenlawn, New York no later than the close of business (4:00 PM) November 22, 2011.

            Those residents of the Greenlawn Fire District having resided there for a minimum of thirty (30) days, and having permanently registered with the Suffolk County Board of Elections on or before November 20, 2011 are eligible to vote.
