Although most public art is installed permanently in a specific location, sometimes it is known from the outset that a public art installation is not intended to be permanent.  This inventory category lists works of publicly accessible art installed for an indefinite period of time or for a known period that is expected to last one year or more.  Works of public art installed on long-term loan from artists are typically listed in this category.  (Click on the image to enlarge and obtain more information.)
