| Description: | Three hollow spheres made of welded steel disks resembling "bagel chips" rest on low cement bases on an inaccessible island in Heckscher Pond. After dark, the interior of each hollow orb glows. The illumination is provided by three sets of photosensor-triggered 64-LED lights, powered by batteries wired to solar cells, all of which is contained within the interior of each orb. |
