Huntington, N.Y. - Councilwoman Susan A. Berland publicly recognized the Half Hollow Hills East Golf Team at a recent town board meeting.  The Half Hollow Hills Golf Team, which consists of ten players, is comprised of immensely dedicated athletes with a genuine passion for the game of golf.  Their hard work paid off this season as they finished with an impressive record of 11-1, and earned the Long Island Championship title.

In addition, the Half Hollow Hills East Golf Team won their division and conference championships, as well as the Suffolk County and Long Island Championships.  "I'm happy to commend these student-athletes for their dedication to the game of golf and for their successful season," remarked Councilwoman Berland.  "These well-rounded students are excellant examples for their peers, and I wish them the best of luck in the future."
