Councilwoman Berland, the Huntington Youth Council and local high school bands at the Spring Youth Fest 2005

Councilwoman Susan A. Berland is currently searching for not-for-profits to participate in the Second Annual Spring Youth Fest in Heckscher Park on Saturday June 3, 2006 from 2PM until 8PM.  The Spring Youth Fest was organized by Councilwoman Berland and the Town of Huntington Youth Council in order to raise awareness of volunteer opportunities for the youth in Huntington. 

This year the Town joins groups such as the YMCA, MADD, the Huntington Volunteer EMS and more, in an effort to increase volunteerism among high school students in Huntington.  The day will be focused on getting students involved in their art and music communities and alerting them to the plethora of volunteer opportunities available to them. 

The Spring Youth Fest will feature of a battle of the bands, art exhibition, food vendors and more. It will be held on June 3^rd from 2 pm to 8pm at Heckscher Park (Route 25A and Prime Avenue).  Please join us June 3^rd!
