Huntington Town Supervisor Frank Petrone and Councilwoman Marlene Budd offered prayers, thanks and well wishes to local marines as they bid farewell to family and friends last Saturday at the Armed Forces Reserve Center for the Marine Corp League in Amityville. The Councilwoman joined U.S. Congressman Steve Israel and Huntington Town Supervisor Frank Petrone in a send off ceremony for the 150 Marines recently activated to full time duty and deployed to the Middle East to assist in America's enduring fight for freedom.
