Councilwoman Berland with Arrow of Light recipients and Pack Leaders from Pack 406

Councilwoman Susan A. Berland was on hand for Pack 406’s Blue and Gold Event Saturday afternoon to honor the Cub Scouts who moved up to the rank of Boy Scout in the Arrow of Light Ceremony. Councilwoman Berland congratulated the young scouts and presented each of them with an official Town of Huntington Certificate of Recognition. 

 “It was a pleasure to congratulate the Cub Scouts of Pack 406 who moved up this afternoon,” commented Councilwoman Berland. “Scouting is such a wonderful, invaluable experience for boys and it instills in them a solid foundation of character based on values, education, and citizenship. The lifelong lessons that these young men are learning will be with them wherever they go in life. I would like to congratulate the Arrow of Light recipients of Pack 406 for becoming Boy Scouts today and I hope to see them all attain the rank of Eagle Scout.”
