"You may very well see Afton Boggiano on Broadway one day," stated Huntington Town Councilwoman Susan Berland (D-Dix Hills) at a recent Town Board meeting.

Councilwoman Susan Berland presented Ms. Afton Boggiano with a special proclamation of the Town on June 18, 2002, in honor of her selection as a winner in the Foundation for the Advancement of the Arts National Competition in Musical Theatre. She was selected from over six thousand entries.

Afton Boggiano has been singing and dancing since the age of five. In addition to private lessons in voice, piano, ballet, tap-dancing and group musical theatre instructions, Afton participates in community theatre and the New York State Musical Association. She will be attending the University of Miami in the fall.
