Councilwoman Berland with volunteers

Huntington, NY - Councilwoman Susan A. Berland continued her annual "Keep Huntington Beautiful" campaign with dedicated volunteers this past Saturday morning at Crab Meadow Beach in Northport.  Residents came together to plant flowers and clean up waste on the beach and in the parking lot.  The volunteers were treated to a gourmet lunch, courtesy of La Casa Restaurant after the clean-up.

"I look forward to the clean-up at Crab Meadow Beach every year," commented Councilwoman Berland.  "I want to thank the volunteers who donated their Saturday morning to beautifying a small part of their community and La Casa for donating the delicious food."
