Local Family Honored for Lifelong Commitment to The Community

Superintendant of Highways William Naughton, Denise and Chuck Adams, ‘Chick’ Adams and Councilman Stuart Besen at the East Northport Chamber of Commerce’s 6 annual Taste of Long Island event.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

East Northport,NY- Councilman Stuart Besen, Councilwoman Glenda Jackson and Superintendant of Highways, William Naughton, joined members of the East Northport Chamber of Commerce, East Northport Rotary Club, Visiting Nurse Services and local residents in honoring a pair of community leaders at the Chamber's 6th Annual Taste of Long Island event held at the Larkfield Manor. 

The distinguished honorees, Mr. and Mrs. Denise and Chuck Adams were recognized for their momentous 60 years of dedicated community service and support and for all of the many organizations they have tirelessly devoted themselves to.

In Councilman Stuart Besen's speech, he paid tribute to the legacy of the Adams family and noted that on his fourth birthday, his dad brought him to Adams Cyclery, where Chuck's dad ‘Chick' sold him his very first bicycle.  Councilman Besen lauded the many charitable contributions the family has made to the community.
