MISSION:

2009 Schedule of Operations

SKATE PARK

The Town of Huntington has opened its' first Skate Park, located in Greenlawn Park on the corner of Broadway  and Cuba Hill Road. The Park, which is 9,200 square feet, has grind boxes, wedges, rails, spines, ramps, subboxes, quarter pipes, and half pipes ranging up to eight feet in height. The Park is designed for beginners andadvanced rollerbladers, skateboarders, and BMX bikers. The Park has already been called the most challengingSkate Park on Long Island. The users themselves designed the Park. All skaters and bikers must wear appropriatesafety equipment: ANSI or SNELL approved helmet, knee pads, and elbow pads. In-line skaters must alsowear wrist guards. Skaters must wear shoes and shirt. For more information call the skate park at 757-0696 when it is open.
