Additional Information:

Handicapped Parking Enforcement Program

  • The Handicapped Enforcement Program is ranked the best in New York State and is used as a model for other towns that are initiating their own program. The focus of the HPE program is not only to photograph those in violation (parking illegally in handicapped parking spaces and fire zones) but also to educate the public regarding the purpose of handicapped parking spaces. The program is staffed with volunteers and is under the office of Public Safety.  If you wish to volunteer, please call 631 351-3232.  The volunteer program is open to Huntington residents only.
